Were you able to catch the movie?

It's still playing on Lifetime so whenever you get a chance take a look at it.

What I liked most about the movie is that it was true to life - to me anyway - and it showed what this young girl was going through, as far as, liking a young man.  Or in her words 'loving' him.

Unfortunately, we girls, love to love!  And no matter what - we love!

BUT, LOVE DOES NOT HURT!  Did you hear me?  LOVE DOES NOT HURT!

Not physically, nor, mentally.

The lesson I learned from the movie:

You have to find the STRENGTH to STAND UP FOR YOURSELF.

In the end she stood up to him.  With a gun in her face, she stood up to him.

(Just like Tina Turner finally stood up to Ike Turner in her movie)

The same way you love that other person,

is the same way you have to LOVE YOURSELF.

No one has the right to hurt you.  God didn't intend for love to be shown that way, so don't get it twisted :)
